The third column is not our wording. It is the statement authorised by Regulation (EU) 432/2012, verbatim. If a product tells you more than this, it is telling you something it cannot prove.

There are two claims, and these are the only two that the law allows us to write. Free from mandatory allergens: contains no soy, gluten, or lactose.
What we won't tell you
This does not reduce hot flashes. And anyone who suggests it cannot prove it either.
EFSA reviewed thirteen clinical trials on soy isoflavones and vasomotor symptoms. Six found a significant reduction, six found none, one did not even report the result, and those that showed positive results had serious methodological flaws. The conclusion was that there is insufficient evidence.
That's why no brand in this category can claim it. And that's why they all write the same thing: soft phrases about stages, changes, and balance. It's a roundabout way of avoiding a forbidden phrase.
